Stationary air pollution measurement stations are costly and ineffective. This is due to the high initial cost of fixed monitoring stations, and their limitations of horizontal and vertical monitoring profiles, regardless of the cost of their installing, operating, and maintenance. Our idea is to develop a modular UAV-based platform that serves as a mobile monitoring station and is able of monitoring multiple air pollutants at different altitudes and locations. Also, tracking the air pollutants concentrations to detect their sources. As well as, taking an air sample of the pollution for later laboratory tests and analysis.
